IBRAHIM CONTEH (born October 13, 1984), is a rapper from Husby, Stockholm in Sweden, who started rapping in early ’97. Best known by his stage name Conté, he is one of the most ambitious rappers of all-time, with a style that reigns from hip-hop all the way down to calypso music, so placing him in one specific genre is an insult. He dropped his first official mixtape in May 2007, called “The Hybrid“,  wich managed to reach 8000 new fans worldwide in matter of weeks. But still he felt as though people where “sleeping on him” since the mixtape had a whole new flavour to it that had never been tried before. So in November 2007 Conté decided that rap fans needed to give him the respect he deserved. He went back in to the studio and dropped his next mixtape called “Numba 13“, and with that tape he got into the game with a vengeance pushing over 30, 000 copies worldwide in the first month and still growing.
